Npower August 2019 Stipend and Device Collection update for Beneficiaries

Npower August 2019 Stipend and Device Collection update for Beneficiaries – Not many of you will fancy this information base on the last stipend payment, which was paid late. Nevertheless, all issues have been fixed and we are here to give you the latest update on stipends as well as device collection for all beneficiaries. It should be shared to the various groups you all belong as well as friends and volunteers in the scheme including the 2017 beneficiaries. Rest assure that the scheme has been working for the smooth progress of all those concerned. Find some of the recent updates as outline here.

The NPVN web page

We had to work on the NPVN web portal so as to effect some little updates on the page, this cause many volunteers uneasy access to their portal. We install the decagon software program and update the IBM software’s. This was done in your own interest. The web page is now working and beneficiaries can now login and view their dashboards again.

The NPVN web page is still http://npvn.npower.gov.ng/login

The Npower Monitoring Team

The Npower Monitoring team will be in Taraba, Adamawa and Eboniyi state this month of August 2019. Have questions or issues, you can reach the Npower team on WhatsApp via the number   0905 555 5970

Npower T-shirts and Cap Collection across the states

The distribution and collection of the T-shirt and face cap is not compulsory. If you can reach your state focal persons and ask for venue of collections will however be responsive. Remember collection goes with a clear copy of your identity card and a print out from your NPVN portal page showing your names clearly.

Monthly Clearance of N-Power Volunteers

We never approve the format of monthly clearance being carried out in some states but if it will help in curbing the rate of volunteers absconding their duty post then good for the states/ focal persons. It will not be criteria for payment. What is important is when a volunteer is declare absent or abscond in the event of a visit by the npower officials or monitoring team to his/her PPA, then such volunteer (s) will be put on hold for 3 months pending his defense. Where such is not received, he will be existed from the program.

August 2019 Stipends for all N-Power beneficiaries

The August 2019 stipend will not be delayed, we are looking at making payment before Saturday, August 31st, 2019 but if we cant meet the deadline, be rest assured payment will be made soonest!

2017 Npower Beneficiaries are also not left as their stipends will be paid same period stated above. Payment of stipends is always tied to when oil revenues are shared among the three tiers of government.

Device Collection for Batch B Beneficiaries

For all beneficiaries, note that a new date will be announce on the npower social media handle on when to come for this device. For clarity also, those in batch A yet to be given, will also be invited.

Please note that identity for device collection is a clear copy of your bank BVN slip and identity card.

N-Power has released list of device collection centers across the country for its Batch B Volunteers.

The scheme, announced that beneficiaries will receive a text messsage on their phone for detailed instruction on the venue and time for collection of their devices.

Like we said earlier, Batch A volunteers who have not gotten their devices will receive theirs alongside Batch B.

Minimum wage and increment for Npower beneficiaries

The Good news no doubt is that the national minimum wage has been increase and approved at N30, 000. Payment off the new national minimum wage will start this September, 2019 and Npower volunteers will not be part of it.

The Npower scheme is a volunteer programme, so if any increment in stipends will be applied, then the federal government will have to add to the already set aside N500 billion fund for the programme.

Npower Recruitment for 2019

We keep saying this, the Social investment Programme (SIP) have not opened the N-power online application portal for 2019. When we are ready, this will be announced so that you tell those willing to come on board to be prepared. We are still dealing with Npower tech hardwares and Npower build beneficiaries.
