INTRODUCTION

Atheism and Arianism are two important subject matter in the Catholic Church as well as in the whole of Christendom. We would see and discuss the subject matter on various facts as I will discuss them briefly here.

Atheism is the view that God does not exist. It is not a new development in King David in the Bible said ‘The Fool says in his heart, There is no God’ – Psalm 14.1

In Christianity, Arianism is a Christological concept which asserts that the belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. This teaching was started by a man named Arius. For his doctrinal teaching, he was exiled to lllyria in 325 after the first ecumenical council at Nicaea condemned his teaching as heresy.

Arius taught that only god the father was eternal and too pure and infinite to appear on the earth.


What then is Atheism

This will be an important question, but why does atheism even exist? Why doesn’t God simply reveal himself to people, proving that he exists? God clearly demonstrated his existence many times in the Old Testament.

What is Arianism

Arianism is named for Arius, a teacher in the early 4th century A.D. Arius held that Jesus was created by God as the first act of creation, that Jesus was the crowning glory of all creation. They of the view that Jesus was a created being with divine attributes, but was not divine in and of himself.
